Desain Sweatshirt AIESEC

November 2009 lalu, gue bergabung dalam kepanitiaan Info Session ITB AIESEC Local Committee Bandung. Dalam kepanitiaan ini, gue dipercaya untuk menjabat sebagai Organizing Committee of Finance and Administration (OC F& A) berdua sama cowo gue.

Sebagai seorang OC F & A, salah satu tugas utama gue adalah untuk mengumpulkan uang sebanyak-banyaknya untuk mendanai kepanitiaan acara.

That time, I came up with idea of selling AIESEC stuffs like shirts, sweatshirts etc to raise money.

For the sweatshirts, I made 2 designs to be chosen.

The first one was this blue sweatshirt down here.

Due one thing and another, I finally decided to make the 2nd design rather than the 1st one. Firstly, karena desain sweatshirt yang warna biru udah pernah diproduksi sama AIESEC Local Committee Universitas Indonesia and I simply don't want them to think I do some sort of copycat fundraising. Secondly, karena kebetulan ketersediaan bahan di konveksi ada untuk yang sweatshirt warna abu-abu aja.

Singkat cerita, akhirnya gue memproduksi 50 items sweatshirt AIESEC warna abu-abu.

Awalnya, gue cuma berencana untuk memasarkan sweatshirt itu hanya di kalangan AIESEC bandung aja karena gue ga mau repot dan gue juga saat itu ga melihat kesempatan untuk memasarkan ke market yang lebih besar. But as time went by, ternyata ada beberapa anak AIESEC dari luar bandung, seperti dari LC UI dan LC Brawijaya yang juga tertarik sama sweatshirt gue. I was like, okay, this is good.

Gue udah cukup puas dengan penjualan sweatshirt fundraising ini. Sampai akhirnya awal desember, temen gue, widya, yang juga satu kepanitiaan sama gue di Info Session ITB memutuskan untuk ikut International Conference AIESEC di Singapore dan menawarkan untuk ngebawa beberapa sweathirt untuk dijual disana. I didn't expect it, but the truth was it was all sold out :)

Dan terakhir, pas gue International Conference ke Thailand, gue bawa 5 items sweatshirt yang masih tersisa. Masih ga banyak berharap, tapi ternyata sweatshirt gue tetep laris banget kayak kacang goreng. AIESECers from Thailand, Taiwan, Australian and India bought my sweatshirts. And some other AIESECers regretted I brought just a few of it with me. They said I should have brought more. Woww.

Even now I still feel thrilled over the fact that my sweatshirts are being used by friends from all over the world:)
